The Centre for Co-Curriculum and Student Development, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) provides various services in student development, particularly in the area of soft skills development. The Centre is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring all co-curricular activities as well as student character development programmes such as leadership and volunteerism.

The Co-curriculum and Student Development Centre, UPM will make judgments on student eligibility for course exemption based on the rules and regulations issued by the university. For a course exemption application procedures, please refer to the Academic Advisor, Faculty or the Academic Division of UPM.

How many The Credit Co-Curricular Courses offered at Pusat Kokurikulum dan Pembangunan Pelajar?

The courses offered under the Credit-Bearing Co-Curricular Courses are divided into eight (8) main thrusts as outlined by the Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (formerly known as the Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi Malaysia), as follows:

    What is function of Student Development Section?

    The Student Development Section is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring comprehensive student personality and soft skills development programs. In addition, it plays a role in empowering students through leadership training, communication, teamwork and self-development in line with the university's aspirations.
