Director's Forewords

Assalamualaikum wbt. dan Salam Sejahtera

We are grateful to God S.W.T, with His permission the CoCuricculum And Student Development Center has produced many great graduates and contributed to the development and progress of the country.

Alhamdulillah, student development activities and programs through a student-centered positive youth development (PYD) approach at CCSD will be realized with the presence of energetic, authoritative students as well as solid cooperation between the management and staff of PKPP, the Central Responsible Entity (PTJ) at UPM , Line of Credited Co-Curriculum Facilitators as well as UPM external stake holders.

In addition, the PKPP administration led by the Director, Deputy Directors, Administrative Officers, Staff and Facilitators will always be committed to ensuring that all infrastructure and equipment are in a conducive and student-friendly condition. This is part of the catalyst so that stakeholders, especially UPM students, will achieve outstanding success both in the academic and personal fields. The concept of Youth-Adult Partnership (Youth-Adult Partnership) between students and management and Facilitators will make guidance and counseling efforts more effective and leave valuable experience for students in producing resilient graduate characters in the face of future challenges.

This factor is appropriate and in line with the Vision and Mission of this PKPP which is realized through Positive Youth Development for UPM #PYD4UPM #5C in the framework of developing students who are 'Knowledgeable and Devoted'. Because of that, it is certain that PKPP will be an entity in producing high-level professionals and will always contribute to the university, society and country, as worked through the UPM Strategic Plan and UPM's 'True North' framework by YBhg. Dato' Prof. Dr. Ahmad Farhan bin Mohd Sadullah, Vice Chancellor of UPM.

Finally, I hope that UPM students are wise to balance academic, co-curricular, personality and responsibility towards the university. Efforts to improve self-excellence and the level of professionalism need to be focused to ensure that PKPP becomes a center for sowing pure values and a symbol of excellence in knowledge and soft skills in line with the philosophy of Universiti Putra Malaysia, the Ministry of Higher Education and the country's aspirations.
