STRENGTHENING YOUTH INVOLVEMENT IN THE DIGITAL WORLD

The Director of the Centre for Co-Curriculum and Student Development of Universiti Putra Malaysia, Associate Professor Dr Mohd Mursyid Arshad, delivered a keynote speech entitled The Role of Al in Youth-Adult Partnership for Digital Literacy. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence in strengthening the relationship between youth and adults to increase digital literacy among young people.

In the rapidly growing digital era, youth involvement in the digital world has become an important aspect in the development of modern society. Information and communication technology (ICT) not only influences the way youth interact. Not only that, it also opens up various opportunities in education, entrepreneurship, and the digital economy. Therefore, it is important to strengthen their involvement so that youth in today's era can fully utilize the potential of digital technology.

Shakinah Asniza Mortadza, speaking on behalf of Tegas, emphasized that mastery of digital technology is important in building a competitive workforce in today's challenging global era. Strict believes that technological advancements are the key catalyst in realizing the nation's aspiration to produce competitive and innovative young leaders. "Programs like this provide participants with a golden opportunity to gain knowledge, sharpen their skills, and strengthen their digital competencies, which are much needed in today's world," he added.

Beyond technology, this program also provides a space for professional networking among youth from different countries. This cross-cultural interaction not only fosters unity and mutual respect, but also creates long-term relationships that are beneficial for future collaboration.

The program has received a great response from international youth interested in digital entrepreneurship, showing great potential in empowering the younger generation through technology and innovation. Cakna, it is hoped that it can make a great impact in empowering youth through digital entrepreneurship, in line with current technological developments and current industry needs.

In conclusion, youth involvement in the digital world is a necessity to ensure that they can compete in the era of globalization. By providing appropriate education, opportunities, and support, youth can play a more active role in developing an innovative and viable digital society. Therefore, all parties including the government, educational institutions, and the private sector need to work together to strengthen youth involvement in the digital world.
