Training of Trainers

In ensuring that the seven elements of soft skills acquired by each student UPM, each candidate goes through 2 stages of facilitator screening process prior to being appointed as the facilitator of the course.

First Stage: The screening will be based on the application form where it will be reviewed and examined whether it meets the minimum requirements / conditions specified during the bid issued.

The second stage: screening will be made after the names of qualified candidates short listed and called for the Training of Trainers Level 1 and 2 for two or more days.

Level 1 more concerned about the understanding of the candidates regarding the 7 Elements of Soft Skills. For two days, candidates will be exposed to the elements and how they can be applied as well as to benefit all students in course teaching and learning process.

Level 2 will be held for one day or more (according to workshop modules). Level 2 is more concerned about the concept of learning by doing in which the candidates will be given assignments involving either physical or mental activity. Each assignment should be made of soft skills as the core element and method of solution. Training of Trainers Level 1 and 2 are compulsory for new candidates.In this stage the elements of giving back to community professionally is emphasized and the participants must attend this training before becoming a facilitator.
