COORDINATION MEETING FOR STUDENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM 2025

January 15, 2025 - The Centre for Co-curriculum and Student Development (PKPP) at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) held a Coordination Meeting for the Student Development Program starting at 3:00 PM at the Multipurpose Room, Student Complex, UPM. The meeting aimed to coordinate the implementation of student development programs and credited co-curriculum courses for the year 2025.



The meeting was attended by key representatives from PKPP, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Mursyid Arshad, Director of PKPP; Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar, Deputy Director of PKPP, Administration and Student Development Section; Ts. Dr. Rozzamri Ashari, Deputy Director of PKPP, Credited Co-curriculum Courses Section; and Mr. Mohd Hazrie Minhat, Head of the Credited Co-curriculum Courses Section. Their presence was crucial to ensure the smooth planning and implementation of the programs.



Also present at the meeting were administrative officers from various colleges at UPM, including Kolej Pendeta Za’ba (KPZ), Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail (KTDI), Kolej Canselor (KC), Kolej Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah (KOSSAS), Kolej Sepuluh (K10), Kolej Dua Belas (K12), Kolej Tan Sri Aishah Ghani (KTAG), Kolej Empat Belas (K14), Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee (KTMB), and Kolej Sri Rajang (UPMKB). Their attendance was expected to provide valuable input in efforts to enhance the quality of student development programs at UPM.



The meeting agenda began with a welcome address from the Chairperson, followed by discussions on the implementation of Credited Co-curriculum Courses, the Jiwa Putra Program 2025, and equity issues. Additionally, the meeting discussed several important initiatives such as the Patriotism and National Unity Index (iPPN), the Holistic Student Index (i-HOPE) UPM 2025, as well as the implementation of the Student Development and Professionalism Module (3P Module) 2025 and the Understanding and Practice of the Rukun Negara Module 2025. The Co-curriculum and Student Development Gold Medal Award 2025 was also one of the main topics of discussion.



The meeting aimed to achieve its goals in coordinating more effective and comprehensive student development programs and credited co-curriculum courses. With careful planning and cooperation from all parties, the Centre for Co-curriculum and Student Development at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) aspires to assist in the formation of holistic and competitive students, in line with the university's vision to produce graduates who excel in various aspects of life.
