19 May 2025 - The Co-Curriculum and Student Development Centre attended the discussion on the CIVILIAN@JIWA PUTRA VILLAGE PROGRAM held at the University Transformation Centre (UCTC), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in preparation for the organization of a high-impact program scheduled to take place in July 2025 at Sawah Sepadan, Tanjong Karang.

This discussion brought together various major centres and faculties at UPM including the Co-Curriculum and Student Development Centre, Faculty of Educational Studies, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Design and Architecture, Centre for Development and Assets, University Community Transformation Centre (UCTC) and Centre for Strategy and Corporate Relations (PSPK); as well as other parties involved.

This discussion aims to outline the implementation plan and coordinate the activities to be carried out throughout the three-day and two-night program, which aims to engage the local community comprehensively, in line with the aspirations of MADANI Malaysia and the spirit of university community engagement. This program is also expected to be a catalyst for sustainable community development, with a holistic approach involving educational, technological, social and local economic aspects through cross-disciplinary collaboration and active involvement of various parties.
