22 March 2025 - Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru. The Jiwa Putra Squad of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has successfully carried out the 2nd Series of Flood Relief Mission for the year 2025 which was held in Johor Bahru, Johor. The Jiwa Putra Squad of UPM has provided assistance to the Temporary Evacuation Center (PPS) at Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampong Pasir. The Jiwa Putra Squad of UPM has donated basic necessities such as rice, sugar, flour and many more. This has helped to some extent to ease the burden of the flood victims affected.

The UPM Jiwa Putra Squad has successfully donated 85 donation boxes (UPM & MyFund Action) and 1 box of children's "goodies" has been safely distributed. The Jiwa Putra Squad also visited the victims at the PPS to find out the latest situation regarding their housing and the current situation of the ongoing flood disaster. Moral support was also given so that they remain steadfast in the challenges they are facing and continue to be strong to face the days ahead.

In addition to providing assistance to the local community, the UPM Jiwa Putra Squad also paid attention to their close relatives who were also affected by the disaster. The UPM Jiwa Putra Squad comforted them to provide moral support so that they could continue to persevere in facing the trials they were experiencing. The concern shown by the UPM Jiwa Putra Squad reflects a high level of solidarity in helping those in need.

As an effort to ease the burden of the victims and the concern shown by the UPM Jiwa Putra Squad, they have donated Aid Boxes (UPM & MyFundAction) which contain basic necessities to ensure they can continue their lives in the post-flood period. This will not only have a positive impact on the affected community, but will also strengthen the values ​​of humanity among the community regardless of age. It is hoped that this initiative will help the victims continue their lives better while waiting for the situation to return to normal.
