On 02 April 2025 - Putra Heights, Selangor. Jiwa Putra Squad carried out a volunteer mission at the location of the gas pipe explosion in Putra Heights, Selangor. This mission involved the participation of volunteers from Putra Bakti as well as the Co-Curriculum and Student Development Centre and also other KPT in an effort to assist victims and authorities in the recovery operation of the affected area.

The recent explosion incident has resulted in the destruction of property and injuries to several individuals. With concern and cooperation, Putra Soul Squad together with other volunteers provided humanitarian assistance including the provision of food, basic necessities, and moral support to the victims involved.

The Putra Bakti volunteer mission coordinated by the UPM Co-Curriculum and Student Development Centre has mobilized the UPM Putra Soul Squad together with the UPM Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Hospital (HSAAS) mobile clinic team to channel assistance and provide health services to those affected. The aid provided included 10 boxes of RTE (Ready-To-Eat) food, 30 boxes of basic necessities such as rice, sugar, flour & dry food as well as medical & health care for victims in need.

Even during the Raya week, this effort continues as a sign of concern and solidarity in helping the community in need. Also joining in this mission is MyFund Action, which collaborates in distributing aid to the victims.

On 03 April 2025 - The volunteers were tasked with sorting, organizing, and packing various types of equipment and food received from donors. This step was taken to make it easier for residents in need to obtain aid items in a more organized and systematic manner.

In addition, this organizing work also aims to ensure that each family receives assistance that is appropriate to their needs. The volunteers showed a high spirit of cooperation in ensuring that all items were distributed efficiently and effectively.

The Jiwa Putra Squad calls on more volunteers and donors to continue to contribute to help those affected by this tragedy. The assistance provided not only eases the burden of the victims but also shows the spirit of togetherness in the community.
