February 23, 2025 – The MADANI Outreach Program 2025, organized by the Department of Higher Education (JPT) in collaboration with the Director-General of Higher Education (KPPT), was successfully held at Kampung Melayu Wira Damai, Gombak. The program involved the participation of 12 students from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), accompanied by two supervising officers from UPM’s Co-curriculum and Student Development Center.

This community-based program aimed to instill a spirit of volunteerism and social responsibility among university students. Key activities included an aerobics session and a communal cleaning initiative (gotong-royong) involving local residents. These activities not only enhanced the village environment but also fostered closer ties between the younger generation and the local community.

According to a JPT representative, this program aligns with the government's aspirations to strengthen MADANI values, which emphasize unity, well-being, and harmony within society. He also expressed hope that more initiatives like this would be organized in the future to develop students who excel not only academically but are also socially conscious.

One of the participants shared that taking part in the MADANI Outreach Program 2025 provided an opportunity to engage directly with communities outside the campus. “We learned the importance of teamwork and understanding the needs of the local community. This has been a truly valuable experience for us as university students,” he said.

The program received an overwhelmingly positive response from the residents of Kampung Melayu Wira Damai, who expressed their hope for more similar initiatives in the future. Such efforts are expected to continue in fostering a more caring and harmonious society, in line with the MADANI values promoted by the government.
