Next, the session was continued by Mr. Dahlan Ismail Abu Bakar, Deputy Director of Student Development, UPM's Student Development Program, who delivered a briefing on the implementation of various student development activities under the Student Development Program. He also shared the initiatives implemented to empower student potential through various programs in the form of leadership, entrepreneurship, and character development, in line with the university's agenda in producing high-quality students.

In addition, new students were also given the opportunity to interact and ask questions to gain a deeper understanding of the assessment system, types of courses offered, and opportunities for involvement in co-academic activities provided by the Student Development Program.

Overall, the implementation of this slot successfully achieved its objectives by providing new students with a clear understanding of the importance of active involvement in credit-bearing co-curricular courses. Through this program, students were also encouraged to develop soft skills, leadership, and teamwork which are very important in the formation of holistic students.

It is hoped that slots like this can continue to be an effective platform in strengthening students' awareness and interest in the role of co-curricular activities in personal development and future leadership.
