Read@Uni Pusat Co-Curriculum dan Pembangunan Pelajar, 13 March 2026 - The Social Welfare Club (KKS), Pusat Co-Curriculum dan Pembangunan Pelajar (PKPP), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) organized the PKPP Ramadhan Iftar Ceremonial 2026 which took place with great enthusiasm at the Read@Uni PKPP compound. The organization of this ceremony aims to further strengthen the bonds of friendship among PKPP members and to enliven the blessed Ramadan atmosphere.
The ceremony was also graced by the presence of the top management of PKPP, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Mursyid Arshad as Director of PKPP, Encik Dahlan Ismail Abu Bakar as Deputy Director of PKPP (Administration and Student Development Section), and Dr. Rozzamri Ashari as Deputy Director of PKPP (Credited Co-Curriculum Courses Section). Their presence together with their staff and family members has added to the excitement and warmth of the ceremony.
The ceremony began with a brief welcome speech emphasizing the importance of utilizing the month of Ramadan as a platform to strengthen interpersonal relationships and improve charitable practices. The attendees then waited together for the moment of breaking the fast in an atmosphere full of harmony and togetherness. When it was time to break the fast, all those present enjoyed the food that had been prepared while mingling, thus creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere among the members of the PKPP.
Immediately after breaking the fast, the attendees performed the Maghrib prayer in congregation, which was also one of the important contents of this ceremony. This activity not only strengthened the relationship of friendship, but also further strengthened the spiritual relationship among the PKPP members. The ceremony then continued with a brief closing speech as a sign of appreciation to all parties who had made this program a success.
Organizing this Ramadhan Iftar Ceremony not only provided an opportunity for staff to strengthen relationships with colleagues, but also opened up space for their family members to participate and experience the excitement and blessings of the month of Ramadan with the PKPP members. An atmosphere of goodwill and family was evident throughout the event, reflecting the strong spirit of togetherness within the PKPP community.
Overall, this event successfully achieved its organizing objectives and received a very encouraging response. It is hoped that programs like this can be continued in the future as a platform to strengthen relationships and further enhance the appreciation of the noble values ​​of Ramadan among the staff of the Co-Curriculum and Student Development Centre, Universiti Putra Malaysia.
