March 4, 2025 – Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), through the Centre for Co-Curriculum and Student Development (PKPP), held a Post-Mortem Meeting for the Main Committee of the 2024/2025 Flood Relief Mission at the Multipurpose Room of the Centre for Co-Curriculum and Student Development, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). The meeting aimed to assess the effectiveness of the relief mission carried out during the 2024/2025 Northeast Monsoon season and to discuss improvement plans for future missions.

The meeting was chaired by the Director of PKPP UPM, Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Mursyid Arshad, and attended by representatives involved in the success of the previous flood relief mission. Key agenda items discussed included activity reports, challenges faced, and the effectiveness of the aid mission for flood victims.

Throughout the mission, various forms of assistance were provided to flood victims, including cleaning activities in affected areas, the distribution of basic food supplies, provision of cleaning equipment, and donations of daily necessities. The mission also involved collaboration with various agencies to ensure smooth execution.

PKPP UPM also recognized the contributions of volunteers and parties who dedicated their efforts and resources to the success of the mission. The efficient coordination among various groups demonstrated a strong spirit of volunteerism in assisting those in need.

It is hoped that humanitarian aid efforts like this will continue and be further enhanced in the future. UPM remains committed to playing an active role in supporting communities affected by natural disasters for their well-being and welfare.
