ð—¦ingapore, 23 August 2025 – The Centre for Co-curriculum and Student Development (PKPP), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), proudly extends its heartiest congratulations to ten (10) UPM students who have been selected to participate in the National Achievers Congress (NAC) Singapore 2025, held at Marina Bay Sands, Roselle Simpor Ballroom, Level 4, Singapore. This prestigious programme brings together young leaders, industry experts, and personal development icons from around the world.
Among the ten students, four (4) were the Grand Prize winners of the Cashflow Competition organised during the Financial Leadership Discourse (WAKE) 2025: From Campus to Life, hosted by PKPP. The competition served as a platform for students to sharpen their financial management skills, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities through creative simulations and financial challenges.
Meanwhile, the remaining six (6) students were WAKE 2025 facilitators, who also received sponsorship to join NAC 2025. Their selection reflects the recognition that the role of facilitators extends beyond organising programmes, as they are acknowledged as student development agents capable of leading, guiding, and inspiring their peers.

One of the WAKE winners, Shiham, shared his experience:
“I feel very grateful and excited to have the opportunity to participate in the NAC programme in Singapore. It was not just an event, but an eye-opening experience. This programme has motivated me to think bigger, step out of my comfort zone, and pursue my dreams with greater confidence.”
Another participant, Mira, a WAKE facilitator, also expressed her gratitude:
“The NAC programme was truly impactful. It provided exposure to valuable insights from outstanding speakers, while also offering opportunities to gain experience and build networks with peers from various countries. This experience is truly meaningful and has inspired me to keep growing.”
Interestingly, UPM students were also entrusted with the role of facilitators for the Cashflow Gameboard, which included international participants from Russia and Korea, under the guidance of Abang Abu.

According to PKPP Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Mursyid Arshad, this participation not only acknowledges the excellence and leadership of UPM students but also provides them with the opportunity to acquire new knowledge, gain valuable experience, and build international networks in financial leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal development.
“This programme highlights the students’ competencies while developing their inner potential, soft skills, and global connections,” he remarked.
This achievement is in line with UPM’s aspiration to produce holistic graduates with global leadership qualities who are competitive at the international level. Through their participation in NAC 2025, students are expected to bring home fresh knowledge, experiences, and inspiration to be shared with their peers, ultimately contributing to the holistic development of UPM students.
