STUDENT PROFESSIONALISM DEVELOPMENT MODULE (3P) 2025

13 April 2025The Student Professionalism Development Module (3P) 2025, organized by the Centre for Co-curriculum and Student Development (PKPP) of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), was successfully held at Dewan Putra PKPP. The program was officiated by the Director of PKPP, Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Mursyid Arshad at 9 a.m., followed by a certificate presentation ceremony to student representatives. Also present was Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar, Deputy Director of PKPP.



The first slot commenced with the Leadership and Communication Module delivered by Ms. Nor Syazila Abdul Rahim and Ms. Nazibah Kamaruddin. This module emphasized effective communication, teamwork, and the development of ethical and confident leaders. The session, grounded in simulation and self-reflection, gave participants the opportunity to directly apply their skills.



Next was the ICT Module, conducted by Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Nur Izura Udzir, focusing on both basic and advanced ICT skills. The session included exposure to software applications, digital safety, and technology transformation, in line with the university's initiative to enhance digital literacy among students.



The third and fourth slots continued with the Career Module by Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Roslan Rosnon, and the Personality and Lifestyle Module by Ms. Latifah Amir and Ms. Norzaina Darus. These sessions aimed to prepare students for the working world while promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Participants received guidance on professional image, workplace communication, stress management, and personal development.



The program concluded with the Identity and Volunteerism Module, led by Ms. Maisarah Mohamed Zakaria and Ms. Nor Syazila. This module aimed to instill core values, empathy, and social responsibility. It emphasized the importance of active community involvement to cultivate compassionate students who are socially aware—aligning with UPM’s vision to produce holistic and well-rounded graduates.
