18 May 2025 - Perlis, Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Mursyid Arshad, Director of the Centre for Co-Curriculum and Student Development of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), has received an award at the Perlis State and Federal Territories Level Prime Ministerial Youth Awards (APBN) Ceremony as the Head of the Evaluation Panel. He also received an Appreciation Award for his outstanding service and commitment in carrying out his responsibilities as the Head of the Panel.

The Appreciation Award at the Perlis State Level was presented by YB Tuan Haji Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir, Deputy Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, while at the Federal Territories Level, the award was presented by YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia. This Appreciation Award is in recognition of his contribution in ensuring the smoothness and integrity of the APBN evaluation process. In addition, the evaluation process carried out has been ensured to be fair and equitable because his expertise and experience in the field of youth development has become a norm.

May his success inspire all parties to continue to provide commitment and dedication in efforts to develop the potential of youth for a brighter future for the country.
