Rukun Negara Comprehension and Practice Module

The Rukun Negara Understanding and Practice Book is the result of efforts and high commitment carried out by a group of academics and non-academics who are experts in various fields. The entire content of this book contains the essence of the spirit of patriotism and unity that has been sparked by the five principles of Rukun Negara.

This book uses a module approach that involves the implementation of activities. This book is believed to be able to help facilitators, participants and readers to understand, realize and appreciate more clearly the importance of appreciating and practicing Rukun Negara. The implementation of the activities featured in each topic in this book aims to guide the participants to understand and practice the values ​​of each Rukun Negara principle in their daily lives.

The seven chapters provided in this book explain the background and importance of each principle in addition to providing guidance on activities that can be implemented according to the principles that become the national ideology.

The publication of this book is also believed to be able to be used as a guide to deal with various issues of unity among the various ethnicities that exist in this beloved country of Malaysia. In addition, this book also provides guidance and explanations related to attitudes and behaviors that can and cannot be practiced by every Malaysian citizen, especially those involving the institution of King, Religion and Race (3R). Without a strong awareness and appreciation of the principles of Rukun Negara, the contagion of various negative symptoms is feared to shake the bridge of unity that has been built and inherited by previous generations.

With the publication of this book, students at Institutions of Higher Education (IPT), school students and community members can be helped to understand, appreciate and then be able to apply every principle of Rukun Negara in their daily lives.
